Oroppa

Oroppa is the European novel of the moment. Salome Abergel, a Jewish Moroccan artist and former political dissident, mysteriously disappears at the height of her fame. A loose circle of outsiders, each with their own migration story, sets out to uncover what happened to her. Their journey leads from Salomé's abandoned house in Amsterdam to Paris, Tunis, and Casablanca and deep into the heart of their own longings.
